Minimalist GL1/2 bag to fit into another bag?

So I've combed B&H and Adorama looking for something I thought some company would surely make and sell for a hefty premium but apparently I was wrong.

Here's the deal...

I would like to use the daypack sized backpack I normally use for mountain biking and snowboarding to carry my GL1, some tapes, and tripod. The latter two are easy to accomodate but I don't want to just put the camera in the bag, I would rather put it into some sort of "just big enough for the camera" padded bag then put that into the daypack.

Surely there must be something like the padded dividers but with a lid and bottom of padded foam/nylon?

Ideally this is to save me a few bucks buying yet another specialized bag to add to my collection (I swear I have as many bags as women have purses). Should I be skunked I may just resign myself to stuffing my actual camerabag into my backpack but that definitely would suck.

Thanks in advance!
