GL2/ Pan DVX100

Just curious if anyone on this forum has the new Pan and how they felt it compares to the GL2?

On the spec sheet they seem evenly matched with the big selling point for the Pan being it's 24FPS mode- otherwise they seem on par spec-sheet wise...what do you guys think? Is it much better (if at all) than a GL2? (I know it's subjective but i'm looking for opinions anyway)

Also while in the "comparing" mode- has anyone tried the JVC Streamcorder- what did they find- how does it compare?

Thanks guys
(and gals)

Both are very good cams but the Pana is a lot better. Why? bigger CCDs, higher resolution, more money, the 24P option, pro-scan instead of frame mode, a Leica lens and newer technology. Often, but not always, you pay for what you get. But then again, the GL2 is an excellent cam, and for the money.

The JVC streamer is reviewed in the Nov. issue of DV Magazine.
