Any ideas? What would you do?

2 XM2 cameras at the same point/place.

Put the camera in 16:9 mode and turn it on it's side? That's about all I can think of. Otherwise just get as far back as you can or get a wide angle adapter.

Excellent Idea!

I already have a Canon WD58h, so I'm covered covered there. Getting as far back as I can and zoom in for frame. I was thinking of locking off one and tracking with the other? Start from top and as it falls zoom out. That would possibly edit well with the locked off.

Try find some shots of similar events by others, see what they did - both good and bad. Also try get a feel for the expected action when the chimney is demolished. Will it tip. cpllapse, or come down brick by brick as a salvage operation
