GL2 color sampling at DVinfo.net

I have a Canon GL2 camcorder. I am trying to find out what is the color sampling (4:X:X). I have google it, tried the Canon website.

Does someone know what is the color sampling for a Canon GL2?

Is there any tapeless 4:2:2 Camcorder in the market now? (Not Red Camcorder, far away from my purchasing power).

GL2 is NTSC MiniDV which I believe is recorded as 4:1:1 color.
