You're lucky if you have Fry's Electronics near you co'z they're selling it for US$ 799.99 - 300 instant rebate = US$ 499.99 + tax. Sale ends Tuesday, May 16 so if you really want it just go to the nearest Fry's near you but in case you don't make it just check it out every week coz they might put it on sale again.

If you are interested in the optura 60 they might have it on stock or if you are lucky enough they may have it on sale at US$599.99. Just ask them if they have it or on their other stores.

Personally, I think the GL2 would be a downgrade.

Yeah, what Dave said.

Vic we only discuss the DV Info Sponsors on the board. They are the best in the business. Buying from a trustworthy source will be one less hassle to worry about.

In addition, the B&H price is pretty sweet. I don't think you'll find a better price out there until the Optura 50 is officially discontinued.

Well, I'm ordering the 50 today from B+H because I'm not going to risk buying a used Xi. I'd like to have a good fisheye, but I'll go with the package they have: I believe a .5 wide angle along with a 2x tele. I'll then get a ND filter and a polarizer and a regular filter to keep the lenses clean. OH yeah, a step-up ring too.
