using fieldskit one frame per field

Mike Horrigan August 30th, 2007 09:12 AM

Beautiful footage! What camera settings did you use?

PS- Tell me more about fieldskit.

Cheers,

Mike

I use Fieldskit for AE and it works pretty well. It's a Revision plug-in.

You can also do the one frame per field de-interlace easily with the free JES de-interlacer on OS X.

Thanks, I don't have a Mac. Can Fieldskit help me with the 24P pulldown on my PC?

Mike

You don't need a plug-in to remove the pull down, After Effects has that built in, assuming you have After Effects.

I have AE but the rendering time is terrible and the file size is horrendous. Any ideas?

Glenn Thomas September 4th, 2007 01:08 AM

You could use a Cineform codec.

By the way, great looking clip Peter!

question for Peter

Peter, that looks fantastic! Could you please tell us what shutter speed you used, and was it shot in 24p mode or 60i?

Thanks,
joel

Peter Mueller September 5th, 2007 02:04 AM
