Lol
that was cool!
funny when it started to end it just started getting "good"!!! kinda like "I am Legend".

Adam Perry December 27th, 2007 08:38 AM

haha yeah it did. and i am legend was way too short, but thats neither here nor there. this was a really good short film, and makes me really wish i had a brevis.

the story was good but it felt a little bit more like a commercial for a point and shoot camera to me.

Kevin Borein December 27th, 2007 10:51 AM

holy cow the hv20 did this? Maybe some day i'll figure out how to get mine to look just like that lol.

HD file playback issues

Downloaded "athousandwords.mov". On play get this error message.
"Quicktime is missing software required to play this movie file.
Unfortunately, it is not available on the Quicktime server"
Followed by crash and:
"An unhandled win32 exception occurred in Quicktime Player [3624]."
Anyone know anything about this?
Steve, can you pass this back as feedback to the film-makers?

My computer is a recently built clean new installation of Win XP Pro SP2
with a good track record (so far!).

Excellent short form work

I have now watched on YouTube - congratulations to all involved. The comment I left there is:

"All the film-making elements done well to support an effective story idea. Excellent short form work in every aspect. Congratulations."

Great acting and great cinematography. Excellent storytelling using connected visual elements eg the photo of the building. A "perfect" short film of this length and IMHO would match or surpass most of the shorts I saw in a recent film festival.

That was simply amazing!

Kevin Tam December 28th, 2007 02:33 AM

I was all exited out of this forum when I realized that my download had finally finish. I watched the whole thing and was to say the least, astonished - so amazed that I had to come all the way back here just to say it. The concept was great as well as all of the acting and shot compositions. The editing was also done really well and told the story.
