HDMI => Firewire or HDMI-Based Scoping from HV20
Hi Guys: I want to capture via the HV20's HDMI live output. But I also want to monitor using the Adobe On Location Software (previously DV Rack). That software requires a firewire signal. Is there a box that converts an HDMI signal to a firewire signal? I know that there are boxes that go from HDMI to HD-SDI, so I was hoping to get lucky.
Also, yes I do know that the HV20 outputs firewire and HDMI "live" simultaneously, but I am looking for a workflow solution that only uses the HDMI signal. Alternatively, are there any software-based vectorscope/waveform monitoring solutions that are compatible with HDMI signals? Thanks P.S. OK, I just got an email from a software supplier that shows a Mac-based solution. However, I am looking for a PC-based solution. 1/2 way there. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ScopeBox works with any QuickTime capture device. If you want to scope an HDMI signal there are two options I know of - the AJA ioHD and the BlackMagic Intensity cards. We support both. mike -- Mike Woodworth mike@divergentmedia.com |
