"Export all captured clips to ProRes422" HELP!

I am trying to learn how to capture 24p footage from an HV20 and came across Larry Jordans page. However, I am confused by step 3 -

"3.Export all captured clips to ProRes422 to a folder on your media drive you’ll remember later."

I am fairly new to FCP so this may be a simple question, but how do I export a clip captured on a 1080/30p sequence to ProRes422?
