from the (venerable) HV20 to the HFS100-first project
Just completed my first project with the HFS100 and posted it to YouTube.
I dig this camera! -100% view option on the LCD -1.7x zoom--seriously, it works well. -light weight and quiet -better menu design and access (on the LCD panel) -video gain limiter...have not really tried it yet in low light, but very glad to have it. -peaking -face detection...not tried yet, but sounds great for events. -zoom rocker takes some getting used to, but I like it -58mm threads allow common filters and large adapters. I have both the Raynox 6600 and 2020 adapters. Both have their issues, but are a great value for the money. The piece linked has a couple shots at full wide with the 6600, and plenty at around 30x (10x optical | 1.7x | 2.2x Raynox). It's impressive performance for wildlife work. |
