Software for Canon HD videocam
 
I have a Canon Vixia HD videocamera. The software that comes with it to download and burn DVDs is less than optimal. Any suggestions for a better product? Thanks.

There are plenty of products out there and there are fans of all of them. My favorite editing application is Sony Vegas - it's very easy to use. You can download a trial version and see if it will fit your needs.

I am not happy with the software to burn DVDs that comes with the camera. Any suggestions as to a better product?

Hi Jerry,

I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum with my HG21. It includes a DVD authoring package. It's working well for me, and at a reasonable cost.
