HV10 as a deck for H1/G1/A1?
I wonder if this camera will be able to play back 24f/30f footage from it's bigger brothers. If so it might be an interesting camera to own and use as a deck, and personal handicam.

Is 24f or 30f the same as 24P, or 30P?
Hello,
I have a JVC camera that shoots in progressive scan mode, so will this little camera be able to play back my tapes? Thanks Michael |

You mean 720p HDV playback? Sorry, no it won't.
Or do you mean standard definition DV? If so, no problem. |

Thanks for the info,
I guess I will have to look elsewhere for a little camera or little deck that will do this for me. I do like the idea of having a camera/deck combo package in that price range that will play 720p HDV. Search data bank... Accessing... m. |

I was hoping to use this camera as a deck aswell, but use it as somewhat of a B-cam if i needed one. I know it records 30f but not 24f, is there any way to convert 30f to 24f.
