Battery Compatability?

Will other standard batts from XL2 & H1 work with this or do we need to get all new batts and chargers?

The HV10 isn't big enough for those batteries to fit. It would be one lopsided camera if it did. The HV10 uses the diminutive Canon BP-3xx series batteries; a BP-310 and an AC power supply / battery charger is included with the camera.
