deinterlacing method comparision (samples)

because good deinterlacing is important for watching interlaced video on PC minitors I thought I post a sample. first is just dublicating one field. second is alparysoft deinterlace where calm parts of the image are not being deinterlaced.

Just wondering how Alparysoft deinterlacing compares with with Adobe Premier 2 etc.
Deinterlaced clips seem to look better than interlaced clips, when converted to PAL.

I can't get the pics to load up.

I would love to see the samples.

*Edit*
NM, they are working today.

Wow, you can really see the differences. Thanks for sharing these.

The stock de-interlace filter in FCP never looked that bad. That was horrible. That said, I know that the FCP deinterlace filter also line-doubles, but it smoothes the image out very nicely - you drop res a touch without that horrible aliasing.

That said, I purchased a smart deinterlacer for FCP as well - G Film package with the smart deinterlacer. Took a while to figure out a good combo, but it works in a similar fashion - blends the image where it can to retain the resolution.

That's why I love the MXO going out to my Panasonic monitor. No need to de-interlace it looks great just as I shot it.
