Canon Canada Warranty Question
 

According to the warranty pages in the HV20 manual, products purchased in the US have US warranty only, and only those bought in Canada have Canadian warranty. I guess there is no North American warranty as such. Still, I'd like to know if any Canadians who purchased their camcorders in the US had any luck with warranty repair in Canada. It is really a matter of convenience, I'd still buy my HV20 in the US & take it there for service if neccessary because the difference in price is over $500Cad. Just thinking of all the accessories I could buy with that money... :D
