I did pull the trigger last night. Went for the Sony HC7. The dream of a helmet cam has fadded but I bought this camera due to the sont water housing. As far as helmet cams...If you happen to be in the Sierra Nevada in the winter and you see a guy with a small camera attached to his helmet while snowboarding...that would be me. Thanks to all and especially Dave for all the input
