Wow, Robert! How much of the HV20 did you have to disassemble and was it hard to wire?

Okay Robert, let us in on what you did !! I seen the first discussion on doing a flip. did run wire to the top of camera internally ?

I just finished a weekend shooting with a cheap SD external monitor, shooting camera upside down, and think I would likely do better with focusing off even the small on camera LCD.

yeah, i want to hear the pros and cons of what you did. from what i've read, people are having trouble reverting back to it's original setting.

hi all,

not i making (canon official camcorder service man)

this only phisical "update" not firmware hack
two internal lcd microswitch (hv20)--> cable-->other two microswitch on the top ..ok this not complicated...but the HV20 separate not easy.. and i dont know sorry..
