Awesome Salah

Salah, thanks for sharing! The TIF's are perfect so I can run them through Photoshop. I'm considerng the Connect MI.. - can you show an HDV-still too (from the same scene)? That'd seal the deal! I want to see the compression difference in the luminance, and how much the 1440 res compares to the full 1920 res.

Cheers!

Hmmm...the green looks a lot richer from the HV20 capture.

Or is it just me??

Salah, I'm about to buy the Connect Mi for a project I'll be doing. What's a safe run of HD-SDI from the Connect Mi box to the capture station? I have a 50' cable with BNC termination (good quality copper cable). Should that be able to handle the signal? And, any recommendations on the HDMI cable? And, finally (lol) is audio sent along through the Connect Mi? :D

Again, cheers, and much appreciated!

the Connect MI comes with a 3 foot hdmi cable.
I strapped it to my tropod(have to run power to it)
I run a 30 footer I made..for long runs I would guess you need better cable. I forget what max SDI cable can be in a run something likw 100m, 150m?
HDMI Audio is embeded into hsdsi.24-bit audio at 48kHz (2 channel support now, 8 channel
coming soon)
