25p in DV mode?

is it possible to get 25p in DV mode?

Will i be able to get 25p DV sent out the firewire port when im in camera mode?

From what i have read im guessing I can get DV 25p out of the Playback mode if i record in HDV 25p..

http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=91548

I found this thread which seems to point to it only being able to output downconverted DV in Playback..

thing is im recoding direct to disk and and want to match the HV20 with my XH-A1 which is recording in DV 25p - My output will nearly always only be for web at the moment.

the D2D software im using will only records SD

would a solution be record at 50i and deinterlace?? does this introduce major artifacts??
