XA-20 Battery Runtime?
 

Ready to purchase an XA-20, and need to figure out how many extra batteries to buy. What kind of continuous runtimes have folks been getting?

I think I'm getting about 2-1/2 hours continuous, out of the BP828. The camera and batteries are too new to say for sure though.

My readout says 238 minutes. For wedding work (don't know what you are shooting) you will need at least two large batteries, plus the stock battery.

I personally am going with two of them and then relying on other cameras. The batteries are expensive. $450 for three batteries is a chunk of money. I don't need the 20X zoom past the ceremony and first dance anyway.
