Canon XA20 or HF G30 settings for weddings

For those of you who shoot with Canon XA20 camcorders (or Canon Vixia HF G30), what are your Media settings: Movie format, Recording Mode, Frame Rate. I have the HF G30 and have been shooting AVCHD, 24MBPS, PF29.97. It was suggested that I should upgrade and shoot weddings at 1080p/24.

Output will be to Vimeo, BluRay, USB and I'm sure will still have a few DVDs for parents.

NLE is Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.

Thanks.

(and sorry to people in other forums that have already seen this post. I didn't find the Canon XA and VIXIA sub-forum until a couple of minutes ago.)

Run some tests. Try both modes in typical situations you encounter and determine which better meets your needs.

I usually shoot 1080i.

I shoot all of my weddings at 1080/24P. Given how dark most receptions are, the slight drop in frame rate form 30 to 24 allows just a bit more light into each frame which is paramount to getting the least possible noise in your images. Also, since PF29.97 is not a truly progressive format and 24P is, it seems to play more nicely with Final Cut Pro X upon import. So between those two reasons, for me it's a no-brainer to shoot 24P... however your mileage may vary! =)
