I've only gone and lost my SD card with picture set up on it!
Hello & Help,
I've only gone and lost my SD card with the Custom Picture settings I set up on it ( I left it in a hired in XF 305 & the company say they haven't got it!) I heard that you can get the CP settings back from rushes which I have located and was wondering if there is a way of putting them back on a card and then re load into my XF305 so I don't have to sit down and go through the whole process again. Any body got any clues to if this is possible? Thanks Mark |

Using the updated Utility Disc:
VIEW>CUSTOM PICTURE. You will now see a readout. At this point, you can manually place the Profile Setting as per the readout and send to the SD card. If you have your METADATA FUNCTION set to on, Page 96, looks like there could be a way. The setting must have been set to MEMO, I believe. |

Ok Thanks Lou, so basically there is no way of just sending to a SD card straight from XF utility. I still have to enter it all again manually . which is what I thought. Thanks anyway

Looking at page 140 of the XF100 instruction manual, under "Copying Custom Picture Files" it says "you can copy to the camcorder a custom picture file embedded in a photo"
So it maybe possible to take a photo of one of the scenes you have already shot and then copy the file info to the camera Good luck Bob |

This is one of the reason's i prefer CF to SDHC cards. The latter are too small and are easy to lose.
