Shooting Outdoors With The Canon XF 100
Hey everybody,
I have experimented with a few presets for the Canon XF100. But I find it challenging to shoot outdoors on full manual on a partly cloudy day. It seems like full auto might be the solution to deal with the constant changing intensity of the sun on partly cloudy days. Does any one have any tips for shooting in manual aperture mode on a partly cloudy day? Or is auto aperture the best choice for partly cloudy days? Looking forward to your feedback. Craig |
Re: Shooting Outdoors With The Canon XF 100
We just did a shoot outdoors and basically were on full auto except iris. clouds would roll through occasionally and depending on what we were shooting we'd either wait for sun or reset the iris. Worked very well and won't have any "pumping" issues where the iris shifts in the middle of a take. I hate that!
