Has Anyone Determined 300/305 Rolling Shutter Speed?

When the EX1 came out, we were able to find out the scan speed of the rolling shutter by panning quickly at a constant speed on a perfectly vertical line and looking at two consecutive frames and counting pixels. We concluded that the EX1 scans from top to bottom in 1/60 second (compared to RED's 1/72 second at that time).

Has anyone done this with the 300/305?

If not, is there anyone who can do this test? If anyone can post or send two consecutive frames of a quick, steady pan on a vertical line, I can count the pixels. Narrow shutter is preferable at 23.976 or 24p.

I am looking to find out if the Canon is fast enough to use for animation reference and visual effects plates that would roughly temporally match a (global shutter) Sony F35.

Anything faster than 1/120 second would probably be in-spec for me.

Thanks.

It's about the same speed or possibly just a fraction slower than an EX1R. Skew tests I did side by side with an EX1R produced very similar results.

Thanks Alister.

Do you (or does anyone) know how the EX1R compares to the original EX1? Same or faster?

Thanks.

Same for both cameras.

Thanks.

I'm guessing that the Canons are 1/60 as well then. They would have to be at least that in order to achieve 60fps.
