Assign, more like re-assign? Correct?

In an attempt to ADD an extra function to a Button, I've experimented with wishing to include LCD/BW to the original Peaking Button. What I've discovered is that Peaking function, on the Peaking button, was removed/substituted for this LCD/BW. This indicates to me that I'm re-assigning a Function to a button. How I understood this Assign option was I could retain the existing Function but ADD another function too. Is it at all possible to ADD extra functions to a button?

OK, my solution so far has been to leave the Peaking function on the Peaking button and Assign the LCD/BW function to the STOP button within the playback section (can't use this button while filming!). Is this the way to do this Assigning? Or is there a further/better way?

TIA

Grazie

Grazie, you can leave the buttons that have already been designated to a function like Peaking, OIS etc. There are other buttons which are available: 9,10,11,12,13 are the ones on the playback transport pad.
In fact, buttons 8 - 13 have no assignable function set.
Check out page 107 of manual.

"Customizable Functions", page 120 of the user manual : "F. Assist B&W". No need to reassign buttons at all. Neat!
