XF100 and steadicam

Hi,
I wonder if somebody using the XF100 together with the merlin STEADICAM?

If yes:
- what are your experiences
- what are your so named cookbook settings

Re: XF100 and steadicam

I just recently bought a Glidecam HD2000 on the advice of quite a few folks here and elsewhere. I am using it with my XF100 and hope to give it a fly with my 1D Mark IV and 5D Mark II, also. It's a very complicated set of muscles required to really control the thing.

No experience with the Merlin, though.

Re: XF100 and steadicam

Steve,

I face the same challenge.
First to get it stabilized but after that the real thing ;>))

At this moment I cannot find or figure out the right cookbooksettings.

Success

Re: XF100 and steadicam

I'm shooting my first event (a bar mitzvah) with it in a couple weeks. Will report back afterwards. ;-)
