can I display DUR. instead of TC in upper right lcd?
 

Hi there,
Can I display Duration instead of running time-code in the upper right of the lcd?
I've been searching through menu settings and I can't see how to do this, so I figured I'd better ask.

Do you mean the length of a single "take"? From START to STOP? If that's the case, then I've asked this already. Seems like a no brainer.

I am not a fan of that counter either. That is useless info while I am filming.
Any ideas about a firmware update in the works? There are a few easy fixes that need to be changed, in this same vein.

My XH-A1S had a "take counter" as well. It seems like a blatently obvious addition, that somehow got missed.

I'm doing a shoot today and I'll be seen mouthing to myself -1-2-3-4-5-6.... Just so I'll now I have some 10 sec bursts of b roll and leadings for interviews. A £5.5k camera and no take counter?

It's gotta be an omission. Bizarre....

My 7D has a counter which I really use for short clips. It also has a digital level, so the footage is always level.

Went to a camping store and bought a twin pack of levels that are affixed to campers for about $3. Fixed one to the fluid head and this has make a big difference for leveling the XF300.
