Anyone have experience with Irvine-area service center?

My brand-new XF305 has a stuck imaging pixel in the 1280x720 mode. I'm in the Phoenix area, so my closest Canon service center is in Irvine. Has anyone had any experience with this center, and have any idea of the turn-around time I could expect if I ship it to them?

I live about 45 minutes from them and have used them for SLR and lens repair - they have always done a great job for me. Turn around has been within a week on SLR and lens stuff. I haven't had to do anything on my XF 300 so don't know about how they would deal with that. I always just drive my stuff there and pick it up rather than take time for shipping.

I used them while shooting in LA this summer for emergency warranty work (Im from London). Great service and quick as it was urgent.

Call ahead if I were you and take it there yourself if you can. You are a CPS member if you have an XF and the pixel re-map just requires them to run software of an SD card.. Speak to a CPS manager and not just the guys at the front desk.. Should have time for lunch before collecting!

I'm not sure the CPS membership comes automatically with XF ownership - I had to apply and pay $100 or so for Gold membership - now that I think about it, I still haven't heard from them - but they did take my money!
Just called them -had to log in to my account, click ok to agree to their terms (something about my first-born child) and then I'm good to go... sigh - too busy for such things.

ANYWAY, there is a free Silver membership that helps expedite repairs a bit, but I think you have to sign up for it. Canon Professional Services - Homepage

Maybe its a canon Europe thing. The XF here qualifies for CPS Video membership.
I had a stuck pixel sorted here in London 3 weeks ago.

I've had our XL-H1's in the a couple of times, and they were great. Fast work and the cameras came back better than ever. I'd recommend them for sure. ;0)

I have used them several times and the service has been very good.
