Some fragments of my film "Washington state wilderness"
 

US state Washington is a beautiful state which has a lot of finest places and areas. I try to "take a hold" most of them with my video camera Canon XH A1.

Wow! I've only watched the mountain video so far, I liked it very much. Good composition, music, and cut. My favorite was the faster "action" section with the rocks and rock formations. I didn't see chromatic abberation where I would have expected it; did you use a correctional filter in post?

I watched the first one and am downloading the rest. Looks good. I am thinking about doing the same type thing... like "East Tennessee Nature" or the like.

Great video! Focus was very good and I didn't see very much chromatic aberation in your shots. Were any of the scenes shot at extreme wide angle?
Did you use autofocus, or did you manually focus, and did you use any separate monitors for focus assist? I was really impressed.

I am sorry, I couldn't answer your questions earlier as I don't have an opportunity to check this forum often.

Now answering:
1) I used separate monitor VariZoom SWIT as a focus assistant
2) I didn't use autofocus, everything is shot in manual focus mode
3) I didn't use extreme wide-angle lenses as I don't have any :)
4) I used polarizing filter only
5) I didn't do anything special to reduce the chromatic aberration, but I guess applying polarizing filter might have reduced it
6) When appropriate I tuned a color correction in post a little bit

Wow, really looked nice. I have only viewed the mountains clip so far but plan to also view the others.

There was a very short glimpse of leaves (top of the trees) moving. I would have love to see more of it :)
