Help with Shutter Speed Setting!!

HI All,

I have to shoot a scene which a kid throws a full bucket of Marbels from the second floor.
I want to slow motion it half way down and then fast speed it again.

I'll be filming in HDV 30F. What shutter speed whould you all recommend?

Thanks in advance
Matthew

the conventional wisdom would say "60."

edit: sorry, just read the whole post. I guess if you want to do slo-mo, I'd set the shutter as high as you can and still get the exposure you want. Use as much light as possible.

Mathew, if you want to slo-mo the action I suggest you shoot in 60i. It captures double the number of images per second and produces better slo-mo as a result.

Richard
