Cinema-like Look

What can be the recommendations to achieve cinema-like look? I suppose, sharpness should be negative (I used -3) and coring near 3. What else I should tune for better results?

No offense, Lev, but that topic has been beat to death on this and probably every other forum.

If you're looking for a "film look", you can only truly achieve that by shooting on film. Maybe in a few years, the chip technology will better emulate the physical properties of film, but right now, they have two very different characteristics in the way they capture light.

Most people associate a shallow depth of field with "cinema look". That's the reason the 35mm adapters are so popular with the dv film makers.

The camera is only one aspect of the cinema look, however. The best way to that look is through lighting, blocking, camera moves, and camera angles. Of all those, proper lighting will take you closer than the others to a cinema look.

Shooting in 24f with a 48 shutter speed will closely match the motion properties of film.
