Standard Capture Problem

If you have a difficult time capturing HDV footage to your computer using Final Cut, make sure the "PLAYBACK STD" is set to HDV in the signal setup menu.

If the option is ghosted, unplug any external cables and you should be able to access the selection.

capture problems final cut pro

hmmm...didn't work for me. only method it will let me capture is with HD-DOWN CONV [ON].

any other suggestions (not that the final version will be in HD...just wondering)?

but I really would like to know how to capture in settings other than DV NTSC...
