Capturing DV

Hey!

In order to get the best quality out of your XH-A1 DV footage, what programme do you use for capturing?

Thanks

Most Non-Linear editing applications will capture to the same format of compressed HDV mpeg/m2t. I use Adobe Premiere Pro and HDVsplit for capturing depending on what im working on. Most of the time I find myself using HDVsplit recently because of its accuracy on splitting scenes into files. Quality-wise, I can not see a difference between capturing in Premiere vs. HDVsplit.

How could be any difference? This "capturing" is data copying in reality.
