sos quick audio question

Hello,

Newbie in need....

running out about to shoot this afternoon and have run into an audio question.

Using two mics, Senn 416 on a boom and a Rode Ntg-1 on the camera. ( Channel 1 and channel 2) Can I choose an audio output to my head phones so that I only hear the Channel 2( Boom mic) ? Without of course altering the mix as I have it set onto the tape.

Thanks
Jonathan

The only way I know of would be to have a mono pair of headphones which are available at radio shack I think. Then whatever channel the headphones choose, you'll have to plug the boom into that one. Or, a mono to stereo adapter at radio shack could also work...
