A1 and HV20 combo for sail documentary. 24f, 30f or 60i

Hey guys,

I'm off to Hawaii on the July 8th to shoot a sail trip from Oahu to Alaska via Midway and the Aleutians. I've shot with all manner of cameras but for this project I have an XH-A1 and HV20. I plan to use the HV20 as a diary cam/ second camera. I also plan to get it a fisheye to capture shots from the rigging etc. Here's my question. I have no experience with either camera or 30f, 24f formats. Which format do you recommend for the most flexibility/ best image?
There are many possible end uses for the footage. An agency in France is interested in stock as is another in London. I can probably sell some of the footage to my normal employers here in the U.S but I'm primarily shooting a Documentary for T.V. Of course I'd love for it hit the big screen but in reality T.V in New Zealand (home) would be great.

Unfortunately the HV20 doesn't have 30f or that would be my preferred format. 24f is out because of the run and gun nature of the film.

Should I shoot 30f on the A1 and 60i on the HV20?
Should just shoot everything in 60i
Just in case you were wondering, the cameras are both NTSC 60i as I have not had time to get the 50i conversion from canon.

Any comments on formats or newbie A1 tips appreciated. I need to get up to speed QUICK!

Cheers,
Josh.

Safest bet is to just shoot 60i on both cams.
