XH-A1 + Brevis35 - First Footage

Hi,

I received my Brevis35 yesterday and managed to find some time today to shoot some footage with it and my A1.

http://www.vimeo.com/1122630

Lens used is a Nikon 50mm that I borrowed from my wife, Katie, who also kindly agreed to appear in this video. Well .... I told her afterwards that I'd be posting it on here ;)

I'm quite happy with the results.

Let me know your thoughts/feedback/critique.

Thanks,

Matthew.

It looks nice, artistic. Great shots.

Very cool. I like your shooting style.

I really like those colors too. That is obviously more than a preset at work there. If you are still using premiere elements... you sure have learned to push it to its limits.

Your wife is beautiful and well suited for shots like this... so maybe she will let you live.

That's beautiful. The Brevis plus XH-A1 combo delivers as promised. You can see that in your video. Beautiful girl too. Not sure about the gang signs, didn't know you had nukular warheads on the bottom side of the world.

Very nice and sharp.

Thanks for the positive comments guys!

I'm looking forward to finding a bit more time to spend shooting with the Brevis. I just have to get my hands on some more lenses to get a bit more variety.

Matt,
1. Your wife is adorable.
2. The lens - was it a 1.4 or 1.8?

Thanks,
Lonnie

Hey Lonnie,

The lens is a 1.8.

I'm thinking of getting a 1.4 but I'm not sure if it will make that much difference ... Still undecided.

Cheers,

Matthew.
