Porsche Club of America Autocross Car Racing

Got the chance to film at one of the PCA autocross events and i'm glad i did. lots of action and lots of great cars. people were racing anything from 1970's porsche 914 to a new hot GT3 rs and even a souped up classic mini cooper.

Shot at 60i VividRGB preset, -3db

not bad. the last time i tried to shoot a docu at a PCA event, i was told that it was unsafe and that i couldn't film. if the insurance company finds out, they'll revoke the coverage

Gotta hate the bureaucrats!

Wow some of those Porsche's seem like they might even be fast. Image!!

they were very strict with me and made sure i had a spotter next to me at all times. made sure it was safe for me to film where i was. and i never felt as though i was in danger.

I've heard Porsche has bad media relations in regards to filming their cars / events / logos... I live about 30 min. from Barber Motor Sports park and they have big "Porsche Events" every now and then... Another DP friend said that he was hassled for filming just for personal use... ***SIGH*** Guess I'll be getting a Ferarri... I hear they like camera guys... : )

Good action. Do you recall the shutter speed?
