Mounting accessories

Hi Everyone,
I need to mount a shotgun, wireless receiver (dual channel Azden 320 so it's not tiny), and my litepanel micro to my camera. Other than a j-rod does anyone have any other suggestions for mounting these? I have a quick release on the bottom as well so I'm not sure if that prevents me from Bracket-1. Has anyone fashioned up anything themselves?

David,

I would be happy to send you a J-Rod to see if it fits your application. If you find it doesn't work for your application I would refund your payment for the J-Rod. It works well with the A1 and a receiver with a mounting shoe. No extra shipping to Canada !

Jeff

Just took a look at the J Rod. Interesting item. I'm curious as to how you would use it to mount a receiver. I've got the AT U100 I believe its called. It doesn't have anything that would allow it to connect to a shoe mount, so some other item would be needed to connect the 2. Any recommendations?

Thanks

The J-Rod will not work with the U100, since it does not have a mounting shoe. However, I do know of these brackets that are made for the U100 : http://tinyurl.com/5lksk8

I've used this

with my PD150. Not sure how well it would work with an A1. I like the J-Rod's ability to mount things on top and was hoping to find something that would make that possible. So some receivers must have the ability to connect to a shoe mount. Which ones are they?

Yes--The Sennheiser evolution series is small and lightweight and has a shoe mount on it. I recommend these highly--we have over 30 sets in my company and we have only needed 2 repairs due to impact damage. see them here : http://tinyurl.com/yt5mg8
