I have found the best case for the A1

I bought one of these off ebay and it really is an amzing piece of kit, all my bits fit in with ease and the build quality is awesome with a smooth shift when opening the case.
It has castors so rolling as you walk is faultless.

Yep, i have a peli 1510 and i love it. I guess this one is a little bigger.

I've got a Pelicase for my A1 as well, can't recommend these cases enough! Very well made, and durable.

Worth noting that the warranty does not cover damage by Sharks, Bears or Young Children. ;)

Me too.

But I've got a plucked foam insert.

I don't suppose that it will hold as much kit but I think I'll be happier if the case is thrown around.

Me too. Highly recommended in my humble opinion.

I've been using peli for years with great success. Although I don't have one for my A1, I do have them for four other smaller cameras and wouldn't used anything else for them.

Used them on boats and for traveling. Great protection and never a problem.

90% of my work involves me getting on several planes. I just purchased this carry-on travel case

http://www.thinktankphoto.com/ttp_pr...ArprtAStrm.php

and I am really happy with it. It fits the A1, HV20, WA adapter, Batts, Charger, 10 Tapes, small on-cam light, and a small thin laptop in front. Basically, everything I need in case the airline loses my bag. It fits right under the seat. Great wheels, decent handle, and lots of extras.

It also has straps and cup for a tripod and I was even able to squeeze the spiderbrace in the front pocket once I was on-location.

I have a variety of portabrace, pelican, petrol, lowepro, canon, and other cases that I use depending on the job itself. However, most times I will just use a Spitfire backpack padded with bubblewrap to carry around the camera locally.

Thanks for this. Going to have to keep this in mind for when I finally get my XH-A1.
