Snowboard Videos

I just got my camera at the end of last year. I took it out snowboarding a few times and made some videos from some of the stuff I shot. I did not know what i wanted to shoot so I just shot a bunch of stuff and when I got back I made a couple movies. It was really a run and go style so keep that in mind when looking at the quality. I now know that next time I go out i need to be running a much faster shutter speed as the video is blurry when following some of the riders. Yes there are shots of the rider not making the trick. Yes there are mistakes in the filming but like I say I'm 17, don't have much money and I plan on working really hard achieving higher quality videos in the near future and bring more story into my videos. Thank you for watching.

Questions

Also just as a question what is the highest shutter speed i should run before I start to lose quality? What is the smallest aperture size I should have so i have a very wide depth of field before I start to lose quality?
Thanks

I shot this movie in 60i. Should I be shooting in 30p?

Personally I like using 60i for shots I know I'm going to want to overcrank into slow motion because with After Effects you can turn 60i into super smooth slowmo whereas I find 30f to be choppy when it's played back too slow. Also, 24f looks real nice for lifestyle shots in snowboard videos but you'll need to convert it to fit a 30fps timeline.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the message :)
I shot my last short in 60i and used the slow mode lots. You can watch it here Trucked In on Vimeo and tell me what you think!

Nice Owen!
I really liked your videos. Keep up the great work & i hope to see more of this stuff from you. On a technical note, what shutter speed were you shooting? In your video "Let it die" at about 2min10secs. you had some really nice slo-mo stuff! Just curious what shutter speed you were using for this.

Thanks,

Bryce

Two Questions:

What kind of wide angle do you have?

Got any pow shots you can share??
