Dead pixels in high gain setting

Well,
I guess this is just a heads up to something I noticed a couple days ago. I only recently bought a 1080p lcd tv, so I hooked up my XHA1 to check out the image. Much to my (unpleasant) surprise I noticed three or more dead pixels, that would only show up in high gain settings, 6db and above. Very lame.
I kinda wish I could unsee it!

anyone else had this?
cps- camera is almost 2yrs old by now.

since it's only in high gain, it sounds like those pixels are less sensitive than they should be.

So, not quite dead, though I can understand that you will think that they may as well be dead.

I have 1 dead pixel in Gain 6db and above. I almoust never user anything above 3db, so its not a problem for me.

Try turning the camera completely off for a few seconds then turning it back on, it should masked the dead pixels for you automatic.
