In search of a video done with stock XH-A1 with presets

Meaning, I would like to view a video someone has made with the XH-A1 that does not have a DOF lens attached to it or anything. A shot simply made with a stock XH-A1 along with presets.

Reason I ask is because I am trying to learn more and more about this camera and there are some GREAT shots on this board but a lot of them are aided by a substantial amount of other resources.

Heres some of mine...

Here you go:
These were done when I first was starting out with this camera and had no clue what I was doing and had really no equipment either, but it was before I got the any 35mm adapters. They're not terribly good, but it was a start after not filming for 6 yrs...
I believe I used all VividRGB presests at the time.
Hope this helps a little... Happy filming...

That does help very much! Thanks.

Anything else from anyone would also be appreciated

I've got some things for you.

Now, some of these shots are with the WD-H72 Canon wide-angle adaptor, but no 35mm big guns.

I sometimes use a little colour correcting afterwards, but here's a recent video with no colour correcting on stock xh-a1 (except the fast motion shots): http://exposureroom.com/distance

You can get pretty shallow DOF with the native lens if you zoom in and open up the aperture all the way.

This one shot with native lens. All I did in post was to crush the blacks add saturation.

Oh, color correction is alright to show...I should have mentioned that. Basically what I'm trying to do is see what I can do in terms of quality without spending anymore money. Color Correction can be done in FCP so thats no worries for me.

An outlet for shameless self promotion! Yay! :)

Here's one I did over the summer. Straight XH-A1, 3 piece light kit on the interviews. VividRGB preset.

Here's something I did a couple weeks ago. I used the Panalook2 preset to match my HV30. I'm happy with the results. The main thing is for the White balance to be even between the two cams. Alan Barcus playing his song "Last of the Cowbows" on Vimeo

Rich, a bit off topic, but can you compare the Panalook vs. Panalook 2 presets?

Here's mine:

Nothing fancy at all, I attached my Circular Polarizer to it outside, other than that, stock with, IIRC, the VividRGB also... don't quite remember which one. Worked like a champ though. I ended up DQ'd for use of a trademark (the blindside shirt :( - I told him to turn it inside out)
