XH1A best price

Howdy folks,

first time poster, looking to purchase 2 XH1A's in the UK prior to the collapse of Sterling. Whats my best option for getting them cheap, wholesaler or something? contact, links please :)

Not looking for the XHA1s as I can't justify the extra £££

Good evening,

I did quite a bit of research on this. the best reliable source was B&H.

I had a place that advertised them economical and when I went to order the surprisingly had none on hand!!!!!

One must be suspect if the price is to cheap!!!!!

After much research I still ended up at B&H. I also know they will treat me right.

If you're going used, then craigslist is a great place to check. Of course, if you're going to go this route, then make sure it's local and that you can pick it up in person, and give it a bit of an inspection first. I've never purchased a camcorder from Craigslist but I've had some large figure dealings with it before and they went fine.

And if you're going for new, I suspect B&H is going to be the most reliable online source.

We're currently looking for one or two reliable, trustworthy UK full line dealers to add our our DV Info Net sponsors list -- sorry we don't have any official recommendations at this time.

B&H is the way to go

I think i'm with you on this one i'm also looking to buy this CAM and they are priced at $2,999.00. I work and live in NYC and these guys have been around for like 20 years. Store is insane and they back everything up. I found deals for @2,000 but those are the JAP models and unless you can read the user manual in Japanese then you are out of luck. Only thing that scares me is this 24F not 24P I use FCP to import and wonderting if I am going to have any problems.

If anyone has used this CAM please let us know how to import and any tips. Buying for Wedding.

24F is 24P -- there's difference. Final Cut captures it as 24P. You won't have any problems.
