Shooting and captureing 24f SD, HELP!

I need help! What settings do you use when you need to shoot 24f SD???
I've tried everything but I can't get it to capture in Premiere. In fact I can't even play it back to see the footage.

What settings do you use to shoot and capture???

Thanks,

I've confirmed I'm shooting in 24f STD. When in playback mode, it still says HDV across the top of the lcd. I''ve gone into the Signal Setup menu and it looks like this:

SIGNAL SETUP
TIME CODE
PLAYBACK STD.---
COMP. OUT ....408i
AV->DV..........---
HD DOWN-CONV.---
LETERBOX.......OFF
<-RETURN

What is weird is that I can't select PLAYBACK STD. because it's grey'd out.
What does yours look like?

Help!

Ok, just figured it out. I had a firewire connected to the camera and it wasn't allowing me to access the PLAYBACK STD function.
Once unplugged I could change it to SD and all is good.

Now you’re baptized, welcome to the club.

I don't shoot and edit on a regular basis so it took me a few times to remember this. If it wasn’t for this forum, I don't think I would have ever figured this out.
