Weather Protection?
 

I am looking onto a weather protection cover for my A1 to include light rain if caught outside, dust and sand. I see B&H has the Kata RC14 for $79.99. Does anyone have experience with this cover?

I don't have experience with that model but I went through the same process as you. Kata and PortaBrace came out on top for me. I went with PortaBrace because of the name and reputation, and the fact that they're made sorta locally.

I'm with Battle on getting something quickly and using it often. Mine has been effective in both rain and snow thus far, touch wood.

I also have the PortaBrace rainslicker. It's a well designed piece of cloth, but the controls are hard to reach and it isn't easy to put it on really fast.
When it isn't raining hard, i don't close it all the way at the back and bottom. This way it is easier to reach controls as zoom/iaf button.
