Using Canon XH-A1 with Redrock Micro Adapter

We just recently finished a music video using an XH A1 with a Redrock adapter, and 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm lenses. Overall the setup probably ran about $6000, but in my opinion is worth it, given the "professional" look that you can achieve. My only complaint is that we were using the second newest Redrock lens adapter, and it darkend everything by about 2 F-stops, but the new one only causes you to lose 1/2 and F-stop. I would be happy to answer any questions about its use.

Here is the look we achieved:

Very nice, but i do think it needs some colour one way or the other.
The cameraman must have been so very busy getting the Redock in order that he forgot to straiten his horizon in some shots.

It certainly helps give a lot of the shots a classical feel. The black and white was a good choice given the costumes and landscape, there is a sense of the fantastic to it, like we are watching a folk story unfolding before our eyes. I liked the shots at 1:22, 2:52, 3:27 and 3:37. Thanks for posting, I'll be shooting my first feature with 2 A1 cameras and an H1 in a week and feel confident that the footage will turn out nicely.
