New WB Series Shot on XH-A1

My new WB online thriller EXPOSED was shot with a Canon XH-A1 and a Letus Extreme adapter. This show was shot last year, but is premiering today 6/15/10 at TheWB.com.

We got a lot of bang for our buck using this setup.

Wow! Congratulations!

Really great work. Did WB fund it? If it's successful online will it go to broadcast? Can I borrow a hundred dollars? Answer the last question first.

Seriously, you have to be really proud of yourself.

Bugger it can only be viewed in the US

Thanks for checking it out! WB did fund the series, but it was setup as an online show so most likely it will stay that way unless it got really popular. Either way we are very happy it's being released on the site.

And yeah, it's geoblocked. Sorry about that.. I've got a teaser been meaning to post on Vimeo, so I'll likely do that soon and embed it over here too.

Great work! What was your setup if you don't mind me asking?

Blake Calhoun June 18th, 2010 06:18 PM

Thanks! When you say "setup" are you referring to the camera?

If so, Letus Extreme with Nikon and Canon lenses (we had both mounts). 24mm, 28mm, 50mm, 85mm, 105mm. Shot 24F (of course) with a flat custom preset (one I downloaded from this forum a while back, but I tweaked some). Recorded to tape and a Firestore with the Apple HDV codec. Edited in FCP and used Color for grading.

Hope that answers your question. If not, just let me know!

Yup! That worked. :) Again...nice work!

Excellent

Left me wanting more. Excellent work!
