Capturing via FCP (SD)

Do I need to use Anamorphic check for footage shoot via SD?

I am setting up SD19:9 with frame rate 60i

I edited a short clip; and exported to a QT clip. The sizing looked a little off.

any advise?

(additional note: using FCP to capture....)

Yes. In Easy Setup, the preset is NTSC Anamorphic. Do easy setup BEFORE creating your project and your Timeline and Capture settings will all match. The other thing to check is the Anamorphic property is set after import. Lastly, you can use the Distort properties in the motion tab to push the aspect ratio around till you like it in whatever timeline you have going.

Is it possibly to save the setup, especially since I'll be using it again?
