Hi, Pedro................

It's in the section called "Using the Customized Functions", page 79 to 85 in the Pal manual.

Item number 17, page 85 of the Pal manual, [Tally Lamp]. Set it to 02 for OFF, 01 for Blink, 00 for ON.

I created two custom function files that other than the tally were identical. One had the tally on and the other off. Now you can turn it on/off simply by switching Custom Function files instead of drilling into the CF menus YMMV

Guys I keep my tallies off permanently, I find some nervous type talking heads will start their spiel too soon, I like to get clear of the cam start before they start. I use the CF buttons for other things

Cheers.

Yes. Off for the nervous talent. I like to have a cf for tallies for when I am on camera and using the remote. Also when I have a reporter or other production aware talent.
