Best Preset for outdoor weddings

Hey Guys... I've been using PFVision for my weddings..which seems to be working great except my blacks get a little pixelated. but i was wondering what would be a good preset to use for outdoor, sunny weddings?

Re: Best Preset for outdoor weddings

I have also been experiencing a lot of noise with the color black. I have been doing some experimenting and it seems that the issuie may be using to low of a shutter speed. I was shooting 30f with a shutter speed of 30. I bumped up the shutter to 60 and the problem seems to be gone. I am still experimenting with this to confirm that the shutter speed was in fact the culprit.

Hi Mario,

Alot of the answer has to do with how you're planning to handle the footage in post. If you plan to do a lot of work on it - colorization, white balancing, etc. - you'll want to start with a flat preset like TruColor which allows for quite a bit of work back in the studio. If you are planning to pretty much deliver a product mostly straight from the cam there are a couple of nice presets like NoMagenta that give a very pleasing color palette.

Off the top of my head, I can't remember what the other flat presets are (I only use a couple so I don't know them all) but maybe someone else will chime in with some ideas.
